Levels & schedule

This Schedule is an object to change

Hey folks, There will be No audition for Beginner/Intermediate, Intermediate and Intermediate/Advanced levels during the weekend, so please read the level description carefully.

You Advanced people! There will be an audition on Friday afternoon.

Level Descriptions:

Level Beginner/Intermediate: You have had one or two blues dance classes and are ready to know more about Blues.

Level Intermediate: You have had local classes and maybe one or more international workshops. You can execute the basic movements and steps. You know some variations of basics and you can choose them depending on the style of music.

Level Intermediate/Advanced: You travel internationally to festivals and attended workshops. You have an expanded vocabulary (aesthetic and movements) and have achieved good musicality. You have a high understanding of partnership in dancing.

Level Advanced: You consistently demonstrate, describe, and differentiate between a range of styles and movements, while maintaining blues aesthetic. You include some layered movements. You can observe and work out movement execution. You may teach blues at your local scene and do lots of international workshops.

Level Advanced+ (Invitational): You and Blues have a long story together. You end up going to finals in almost every competition, you practice regularly and may teach Blues not only in your scene but also internationally.
Info: If you haven't got an email from us before 15.06.2023 and think you belong to the invitational level, please send an email to hamed.jenabi(at)bluesfever.eu

How does it work

We’re excited to introduce our Pick Your Own Track!

This year, dancers can choose the classes they would like to attend throughout the weekend, based on their needs, interests, or passion for a particular dance topic or style.

IMPORTANT:
Each class has its own level and description. Please read them carefully before making your selection.
